GI Jobs Recognizes Saint Leo University as a Military Friendly School
GI Jobs named Saint Leo University as a Military-Friendly School for 2010. This award marks Saint Leo University as one of the ideal school choices for active duty, reserve, and veterans seeking a quality educational program from a military-friendly school. Saint Leo University will be featured in the September release of GI Jobs Guide to Military Friendly Schools.
Founded in 2001, GI Jobs has dedicated itself for nearly a decade to military members that are transitioning from the military to the work force. Every year, GI Jobs publishes information for prospective military students on military-friendly schools. The magazine’s reputability has been established through its research and advice into the military aspects of higher education.
The Post 9/11 GI Bill has acted as a node of inspiration for GI Jobs, just as it has for military-friendly schools supporting the Post 9/11 GI Bill through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Saint Leo University is a Yellow Ribbon Program participator.
Saint Leo University also received a similar honor from Military Times Edge this August, ranking Saint Leo University as 12 out of 50 most popular schools for active duty that utilize military tuition assistance.
Saint Leo University was also named as a Top Military-Friendly College and University in Military Advanced Education for the last two years.
