Military Advanced Education recently announced the 2008 Top Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities Honorees. These schools were selected by an independent panel of judges from the fields of both education and the military. Their selections are based on each institution’s favorable policies toward our men and women in uniform. Over 2000 colleges and universities participated in this year’s honors.

As a further tribute to those schools whose military-friendly policies set the gold standard for this honor, the judges have singled out Military Advanced Education’s 2008 Top 20 Schools for further distinction. There were several ties for this honor which lead 22 schools listed in the Top 20 Schools group. All 60 schools selected for the 2008 Honor Roll scored very high. MAE noted the difference between all 60 schools was the equivalent numeric difference between an A+ or A-.
